Easy Apple Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

– 4 cups cubed bread (day-old preferred) – 2 apples (peeled, diced) – 3 eggs – 2 cups milk – 1/2 cup sugar – 1 tsp cinnamon – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 2 tbsp butter (melted) – Pinch of salt – Optional: 1/4 cup raisins

Instructions

Cube 4 cups of day-old bread and peel, core, and dice 2 apples. Place both in a greased baking dish. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Pour mixture evenly over bread and apples.

Dot the top with 2 tbsp melted butter. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the custard. Optional: Sprinkle raisins on top.

Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. A knife should come out clean when inserted.

Serve warm with whipped cream, caramel sauce, or vanilla ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers and reheat for a delicious second round!
