Instructions
In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth. This will add moisture and natural sweetness to your muffins.
Add 1/3 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla to the mashed bananas. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
Mix in 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips gently.
Spoon batter into a lined muffin tin. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
