Easy Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients 

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs 2 large eggs ½ cup all-purpose flour 1 cup marinara sauce 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons olive oil Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook breaded chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4–5 minutes per side.

Place fried chicken in a baking dish. Top each with marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Bake at 425°F until cheese is bubbly, 15 minutes.

Remove from oven. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta or a green salad for a hearty, Italian-style meal.

Use freshly grated cheese for best melt. Don’t skip resting time—it helps juices redistribute. Try with gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
