Easy Whipped Ricotta Toast

Ingredients 

– 1 cup whole milk ricotta – 1 tbsp olive oil – Salt and black pepper (to taste) – 4 slices crusty bread (e.g., sourdough) – Honey (for drizzling) – Optional toppings: figs, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, herbs, balsamic glaze

Instructions

In a bowl or food processor, whip 1 cup of ricotta with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth and fluffy, about 1–2 minutes.

Toast 4 slices of sourdough or any crusty bread until golden brown. Let cool slightly to avoid melting the ricotta.

Spread whipped ricotta generously on each toast slice. Drizzle with honey and add desired toppings—sweet or savory, the choice is yours!

Try honey and figs, roasted tomatoes and basil, or sliced strawberries with balsamic glaze. Mix and match for any time of day.

Serve immediately while the toast is crisp. This versatile dish is great for breakfast, brunch, or a stylish appetizer at your next gathering.
